A retainer fee (also known as a deposit) is required to secure your event date. 

The retainer fee will be half of your event total. The retainer fee is non-refundable.

Your remaining balance is due 14 days before your event (no exceptions/non-refundable). Non-payment of your remaining balance on your due date will result in your event being cancelled immediately (no exceptions). Any payments made towards your event are non-refundable.

Your event date is not secure until your retainer fee is paid.

We do not provide tables and chairs; we can refer you to our preferred rental company. 

Tables and chairs must be set-out and ready for decorations. We will not lift any tables or chairs from a closet or storage area. 

We do not remove trash from your event. 

We will set-up and breakdown items owned or rented by KVWLE only.

 

KVWLE travel fee will be required for events booked outside the Hampton roads area (starting at $100 for round trip travel to and from your event, actual fee depends on your location).

We are closed on Holiday’s.

We are not responsible for the weather. The weather can have a significant effect on outside events, especially balloons. We will not be responsible for the effects of the weather. 

Client will be responsible for replacing items that are misplaced or damaged. The replacement fee will be 2 times the cost of the item (item original cost). The replacement fee will be due immediately upon notice of item damage or misplacement. 

 

Cancellation Policy:

Event cancellation will require a fee of 20% of your event. In the event you need to cancel for whatever reason we will require a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will not be taken from your retainer fee, this fee is billed separately and due immediately upon cancellation. If the cancellation fee is not paid, your event will be cancelled and you will no longer be able to book events with us.

Postponed/Rescheduled Events:

When an event is postponed you will have 30 days to provide a new event date (subject to event date availability, our calendar books fast so we cannot guarantee the new event date), You will receive an event credit for the retainer fee and any other payments made towards your new event date. Your event must be rescheduled within 6 months of the cancellation date. (subject to event date availability, no guarantees). We are not responsible for reminding you to reschedule your event. A reminder email or text will not be sent. Our calendar is full of events that we have to focus on please reach out to us to provide the new event date. Event credits are non-transferrable.

 

Weather:

Due to inclement weather, we will allow your date to be changed once (subject to event date availability, no guarantees) the date must be rescheduled within 60 days, otherwise the event is considered a cancellation).

Refunds: 

We do not provide refunds and retainer fees are non-refundable
